The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Dele Alake, commended African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML) and its Managing Director for its significant foreign investment in Nigeria’s minerals sector, recognized as the largest direct investment. Dr. Alake emphasised the importance of local value addition, a cornerstone of his seven-point agenda, and praised ANRML for prioritizing processing and refining of minerals over mere exportation.

The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, unveiled a ventilation plan to revitalise Nigeria’s Steel Sector, aimed at achieving economic sustainability and industrial growth.

The General Managing Director of ANRML, Mr. Alok Gupta, reflected on the company’s journey, which has culminated in the establishment of a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant. He expressed optimism about Nigeria’s growth trajectory and envisioned a future where the nation emerges as a trillion-dollar powerhouse.

His Royal Highness, Engr James Bitrus, urged ANRML to focus on education, health, job, and food security in their corporate social responsibilities and assured of running an open-door policy to actualise the dreams of the expected development.

Dr. John Akanya, a Board member of the Company, appreciated the General Managing Director for his dedication and prayed for divine strength to implement their mandates, hoping that their labors and investments in the project would bring blessings to Nigeria.
