Illegal mining in Abuja (Nigerian Mining)
Tons of coal and kaolin were found in five trucks.

At least 13 suspected illegal miners have been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the Asokoro area of Abuja on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

    The suspects were caught and arrested following credible intelligence linking them with transportation of tons of coal and kaolin in five trucks from Nassarawa State to a site in Kaduna State. The police have commenced interrogation of the suspects.
