The Ministry of Steel Development has launched an intensive one-month boot-camp training programme aimed at empowering Nigerian youths with advanced technical skills. According to a press release signed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Chris Osa Isokpunwu, the programme will focus on three key areas:

    1. Welding & Fabrication
    2. Industrial Foundry & Metallurgy
    3. Instrumentation, Systems Control & Mechanical Maintenance

    Benefits of the Programme include expert training and mentorship, equipment support for business growth, and opportunities for job creation and sustainable livelihoods.

    Eligibility: Nigerian youths between the ages of 18-40 who are either existing or aspiring artisans in the metals industry are encouraged to apply.

    The boot-camp will last for one month, and applications are free. Interested candidates can apply through this link or visit the Ministry’s official website at www.msd.gov.ng.
