Nigeria Mining Week Returns to Abuja for 10th Edition in October 2025

The highly anticipated Nigeria Mining Week will return to Abuja for its 10th edition from 13–15 October 2025, bringing together key players in the mining industry. The event will take place at the Abuja Continental Hotel, a venue that proved to be a successful choice for last year’s edition.

    The conference and expo, a flagship gathering for the sector, has grown into a leading platform for industry stakeholders. Last year’s event attracted over 2,100 mining professionals, around 200 sponsors and exhibitors, 40 mining operators, and over 20 mining exploration companies.

    The Nigeria Mining Week is a product of a long-standing collaboration between the Miners Association of Nigeria (MAN), PwC Nigeria, and the Vuka Group of South Africa, with the endorsement of the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development.

    MAN President Dele Ayanleke emphasised that the event plays a key role in shaping policy reforms and creating investment opportunities in Nigeria’s mining sector.

    PwC Nigeria’s Mining Leader, Cyril Azobu, described the upcoming 10th edition as a significant milestone, reaffirming PwC’s commitment to driving innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the sector.

    Nigeria Mining Week has received strong endorsements from industry leaders. Nigeria’s Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, described the event as the premier platform for meaningful dialogue on Nigeria’s mining potential.

    Other testimonials highlight the event’s engaging discussions and its ability to bring together key stakeholders under one roof to drive the mining industry forward.

    The event also enjoys continued support from top mining companies, including Titan Minerals Ltd, AFC, Kursi Group, Matrix, Mikano Motors, Segilola, Sinogrand, and others.

    The event is organised by the Vuka Group (formerly Clarion Events Africa), a Cape Town-based company specialising in exhibitions and conferences across Africa in sectors such as mining, energy, sustainability, and mobility.
