    Minister stated that at the core of the Minitry’s Transformative agenda is a dedication to precision and transparency in data. “Quality geoscientific data not only attracts investors but also enhances the credibility and stability of our sector” He said

    Dr Dele Alake emphasised the importance of the event as a powerful forum “Over the years, the Nigerian Mining week has evolved into more than a gathering of industry experts; it is a powerful forum where we refine our shared vision, aligning our goals to create a robust, mining sector”

    His Administration’s Commitment to Value Addition

    The Minister stated that the Ministry was committed to Value Addition which ensures that Nigerian resources Don’t leave our shores in their raw form.

    The Ministry’s efforts to protect Nigerian resources

    Dr. Dele Alake stated that with robust surveillance and enhanced inter-agency cooperation, the Ministry is and has been intensifying efforts to protect mineral extracts to contribute to national development and strengthen investor trust in Nigeria’s mining landscape.

    Artisanal miners integration into a formalised system

    Dr. Alake Acknowledged the importance and contribution of small scale miners to the growth of the sector and mentioned the Ministry’s efforts in Integrating them into a formalised system. “We’re working to integrate these miners into a system that enhances their safety, improves profitability, and offers better access to technology.”His address urged stakeholders to participate in the development of the Nigerian mining sector.
