The Katsina State Government, led by Malam Dikko Umaru Radda is preparing to engage top mining consultants from Germany to help identify solid mineral resources within Katsina State and establish global market connections.
Governor Radda’s plan on hiring German consultants was announced during the inauguration of the board members of Katsina Mining and Exploration Company, held at the Executive Chamber of the Katsina State Government House.
The state requires all prospective resource developers to secure relevant approvals for exploration of the desired mineral resource, which would be consistently monitored to ensure that guidelines are properly adhered to in the sector.
