The Lagos Gold and Gemstone Exhibition, an annual celebration and promotion of Nigeria’s rich history of gold and gemstone mining is holding its 3rd exhibition at the EPAC center Lagos from September 26-28, 2024.
The Lagos Gold and Gemstone Exhibition Conference is a branch of Women in Mining (WIMIN). The goal of the exhibition is to empower women working in the mining industry by promoting their successes, building relationships, and stimulating innovation within the field as captured in The African Mining Vision, a high policy document executed by the African Minerals Development Centre in collaboration with the Association of Women in Mining Africa (AWIMA), places a strong emphasis on advancing and strengthening the role of women in mining.

The exhibition will showcase handmade jewelry crafted by talented artisans from Nigeria and across the continent, Panels and plenary sessions, workshops, a competition to determine the best jewelry designer and an Award dinner.
The exhibition begins with an Exclusive viewing and will be an opening to the main Conference and Exhibition which sets the tone for the entire event. VIP guests will be invited to have at the array of jewelry and other items to be showcased during the open door exhibition. As well as masterclasses on jewelry making.
The next day begins with the opening ceremony, then panel discussions and Gemstone exhibition featuring gemstones from around the country. Gemstones from Kaduna, Bauchi And other states will be displayed.
The last day of the exhibition begins with a continuation of the exhibition and a jewelry fashion show afterwards.
